Philips Hue's new accessory for smart track lighting finally arrives
The Philips Hue Perifo T connector is finally on sale in Europe. The smart lighting accessory was announced in two colors in January, black and white. At the same time, the company unveiled the Perifo flexible connector, which was launched in Europe in February and the US in April.
The Perifo T connector allows you to connect three smart lighting tracks in a T-shape, making spreading light across your room easier. The accessory adds 3 cm (~1.2 inches) to the total track length and can occupy up to 37 cm (~ 14.5 inches) of track. The product joins other models like the straight, internal and external connectors, with the latest additions allowing customers to come up with more creative designs. Several types of smart lights can be mounted to the tracks, including spots, pendants, light bars and light tubes.
You can now buy the Philips Hue Perifo T connector in black in European countries like the Netherlands and France for €39.99. It is worth noting that the brand's website suggests that stock levels are currently low. Plus, it is unclear when the white version will go on sale in this region. The accessory is also expected to launch in the US and the UK in the future; it is listed on the Philips Hue stores in these countries for $39.99 and £34.99, though there is no indication of a release date.
