Govee has launched the Outdoor Wall Light worldwide. The Matter-compatible smart light offers white and colored lighting with various hues and effects. Other features include a colorful striped lighting option, lighting effects synced to music and the ability to link a motion sensor.

The Govee Outdoor Wall Light has been launched in markets globally. The smart home gadget has been designed for your porch, balcony or exterior wall. The company suggests pairing the light with a motion sensor to automatically activate the lights when needed.

The Govee Outdoor Wall Light can have a multi-colored effect, with three shades displayed simultaneously in horizontal bands. The lighting is hugely customizable, allowing you to choose your own colors and effects or select from 45 scene modes. Plus, there is the option for the lighting effects to sync to music. When using white light, the wall light has up to 1,500 lumens brightness and color temperatures ranging from 2,700 to 5,600 K. As with other recent products from the brand, the smart light is Matter-compatible, with controls via the Govee Home App and Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands.

According to Govee, the light has an IP65 weatherproof rating and can operate in temperatures between 4°F to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C). The company notes that the light must be hardwired to a junction box and recommends installation by a licensed professional. You can now buy a single unit of the Govee Outdoor Wall Light RGBIC for $89.99/€89.99/£89.99 or two for $169.99/€169.99/£169.99. In the EU, the company also offers bundles which add a motion sensor, starting from €119.98.
