The Philips Hue iOS and Android apps have been updated to version 5.16.0. The release follows a significant update in April, version 5.14.0, which brought tools like Home Screen widgets for iOS users, improvements for Friends of Hue switches and a more convenient way to save smart lighting scenes.
Version 5.16.0 of the Philips Hue app brings an update for security devices like the Secure Battery Camera, or the Secure floodlight camera which was released earlier this year. In the Security Center, you can now choose the order in which your security cameras are displayed; gadgets can be rearranged using a drag and drop feature. The second update in the release notes relates to editing a Room or Zone. Users can now select multiple smart lights, allowing you to simultaneously adjust their Power on settings.
You can download version 5.16.0 of the Philips Hue app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Signify has also recently released an update for the Philips Hue Bridge,; this software should be automatically pushed to the device, fixing a bug for non-Hue products and improving time zone settings.
