Anker announces new SOLIX balcony power plant storage with launch offer

The SOLIX Solarbank 2 E1600 will support an 800W solar panel input and can operate in temperatures ranging from -20 to 55°C (~-4 to 131°F). Upgrades on the older version include an integrated inverter and stackability for up to 9.6 kWh capacity. Plus, the Pro and Plus models have more MPPTs; the Plus offers two MPPTs with a total output of 1,200W, while the Plus offers four MPPTs, with a higher output of 2,400W alongside a 1,000W AC backup. Further details of the entry-level version are expected to be announced at the Intersolar 2024 event this June.

Anker has yet to announce the pricing for the SOLIX Solarbank 2 E1600, the SOLIX Solarbank 2 E1600 Plus, and the SOLIX Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro. Customers in Germany who sign up for emails before May 21st will be offered a 22% discount on the RRP, alongside a free smart meter and 30W solar panel. Whether or when the new product will reach other countries in the EU or further afield remains to be seen. Customers in Europe can currently purchase the original E1600 for €999.
