New Anker multi-purpose PowerCore power bank with built-in cable could be on the way
Anker is rumored to be launching a new multi-purpose power bank. The model is somewhat similar to the Anker 3-in-1 Power Bank (30W, Fusion, Built-In USB-C Cable) launched earlier this year. It was shared in a Reddit post by u/joshuadwx, suggesting their source was Anker via Amazon.
The accessory is referred to as the Anker PowerCore Fusion 10K with Built-In USB-C Cable and model number A1637. The power bank is said to have a 10,000mAh capacity, double that of the older model. The multi-purpose accessory can also act as a charger, thanks to folding pins; the image shows a US-style plug, and the post does not mention whether versions of the product for other markets could be on the way. At this point, the power output of the accessory is also unclear. Alongside the built-in USB-C cable, which may not be replaceable, the power bank has an integrated display showing the remaining battery level.
The product is expected to have a 165cm³ volume and weighs 300g. While the image only shows the model in black, Anker often releases such devices in various colors; for example, the 3-in-1 Power Bank is available in black, white, purple, pink and blue. According to rumors, the Anker PowerCore Fusion 10K with Built-In USB-C Cable will retail for $44.99. It remains to be seen when the accessory will launch in the US and whether versions will be released for other markets.
