A new Anker desktop charging accessory is rumored to be on the way. The product appears to be somewhat similar to the Anker 525 Charging Station. The new charger appeared in a Reddit post from u/joshuadwx, with model number A2683 and the name 6-in-1 Prime 200W Desktop Charger.
A document detailing the power output of a device with the same model number and the name Anker Prime Charger (200W, 6 Ports, GaN) backs up the information shared on Reddit. Both sources suggest that the Prime Charger has six outputs, two 22.5W PowerIQ USB-A ports and four 100W PowerIQ USB-C ports. When two USB-C ports are used, the 100W maximum power is maintained for a total output of 200W. Quadruple USB-C port usage reduces the outputs to 65W, 65W, 45W and 25W. An outline of the product is included in the Reddit post, showing a rectangular device with rounded corners and what appears to be a power cable extended out from the rear.
Further details, such as the dimensions and color of the desktop charger remain unclear. It is also unknown when the Anker Prime Charger (200W, 6 Ports, GaN) will launch and at what price. For context, the Anker 525 Charging Station 7-in-1 USB-C Power Strip with 65W charging retails for $65.99, though it is currently reduced to $39.99 at Amazon. The equivalent accessory with a 100W output is priced at $79.99.
