Amazfit has announced a Zepp OS 3.5 beta testing program for its T-Rex Ultra and Falcon smartwatches. The program was advertised in the Amazfit Official Outdoor Community on Facebook, with users asked to share their feedback via the app in return for early access to the latest software.
Zepp OS 3.5 for the Falcon and T-Rex Ultra includes a refreshed user interface and design alongside a new HRV mini-app, which must be downloaded separately. There are new contour line maps and turn-by-turn reminders when navigating. Plus, the Readiness metric has been added to the wearable, with better Zepp Coach recommendations considering your Readiness score. However, the company notes that customers who take part in the testing may experience bugs and reduced stability.
Amazfit Falcon and T-Rex Ultra smartwatch users who want to sign up for the Zepp OS 3.5 beta testing program are asked to reach out to the company’s Director of Sports Product; full details are provided in the Facebook post. The stable version of the software is expected to be released at the end of May. Amazfit has already started rolling out Zepp OS 3.5 to other wearables like the Active and the Balance.
