Amazfit has announced Zepp Flow 1.4, which will roll out to smartwatches in the near future. Zepp Flow is the natural language voice assistant that launched with ZeppOS 3.5 earlier this year. Amazfit says it has improved the feature by considering user feedback.
Zepp Flow was only available in English at launch, with support for German, French, Italian, and Spanish rolling out from late April. Now, Amazfit has announced that Zepp Flow will be released to users in Asia-Pacific and Latin America, though this does not include customers in Japan, Korea, or Brazil. Zepp Flow 1.4 is also coming to more smartwatch models like the Cheetah Pro, Cheetah (Round), Cheetah (Square), T-Rex Ultra and Falcon smartwatches,
Zepp Flow 1.4 brings enhanced notification replies with more skills for Android users. To reply to a message, you can now long-press the physical button on the side of the device, indicate to the assistant that you want to respond and dictate the message. You can then review the text before pressing send. A diagram illustrating this flow can be found below.
Amazfit has also made it easier for many models, like the Cheetah Pro, to make Bluetooth calls. T-Rex Ultra and Falcon smartwatch users should note that the feature will only work when Bluetooth headphones are connected. Again, you press the physical button to wake Zepp Flow and tell it which number you wish to dial. On top of this, you can now control various health and activity notifications, like low oxygen alerts and stress relief reminders. Updates with Zepp Flow 1.4 are expected to roll out to Amazfit smartwatches in the next month.
