MagyarAmazfit releases first Zepp OS 3.5 update with new features for smartwatches
Amazfit is rolling out another update for the Balance smartwatch, version 3.17.6.3. The Balance launched in September with various health and wellness tracking features. The previous software release happened in December when the wearable received various tools for cycling accessories and the Readiness score. The new update brings Zepp OS 3.5 to the watch, making the Balance the first smartwatch from the brand to receive the upgraded system.
Update 3.17.6.3 brings Zepp Flow to the Balance, an AI tool you can use to control the watch and ask questions about, for example, the weather or your workout metrics. It is worth noting that this is currently only available to customers in the US and Canada. Also added is support for offline maps, which can be downloaded via the Zepp app. Another new map feature allows users to access professional global ski maps, automatically displayed when in ski mode and near a resort.
Balance smartwatch users can now sync image messages from third-party apps like WhatsApp from connected Android phones. Changes have been made to the breathing training results page, with new charts, and Readiness now supports a five-minute monitoring frequency. Plus, there are several optimizations for the accuracy of the heart rate monitor, the body composition algorithm and schedule functionality. If you own an Amazfit Balance smartwatch, you should be able to download the 18.59MB update via the Zepp app.
