Amazfit announces Zepp OS 3.5 rollout with new feature for smartwatches
The Zepp OS 3.5 and Zepp Flow release timeline for some Amazfit smartwatches has been announced. Initially leaked in an image shared by Reddit user u/jcik68, the release dates are now official. Zepp Flow is an AI voice assistant that does not require using set commands but instead uses conversational input to determine the best response.
Amazfit has said it is rolling out the Zepp OS 3.5 and Zepp Flow update to Balance watches in the US, Canada, the UK and the Republic of Ireland starting February 26th. The software was initially revealed earlier this year, with version number 3.17.6.3, though it was only available to some users then. The update includes support for offline maps, global ski maps and syncing image messages from third-party apps.
Amazfit Balance smartwatch users in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Switzerland, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, and San Marino can expect the update on May 1st. It is worth noting that some users in these countries have already reported receiving the software on Reddit. Zepp OS 3.5 will also be available for the Amazfit Cheetah, Amazfit Falcon and Amazfit T-Rex Ultra smartwatches across North America and Europe between May 28th and June 11th. Plus, the Amazfit Active will get the new software in a worldwide launch from June 20th.
