MWC 2024 | Xiaomi Watch S3: Modular smartwatch lands globally with affordable pricing and launch discounts

The Xiaomi Watch S3 has now arrived globally, nearly four months to the day after its original release. For context, the 46 mm smartwatch joins the Smart Band 8 Pro and Watch 2 at Xiaomi's MWC 2024 showcase, as well as the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Pad 6S Pro 12.4. As far as we can tell, the Watch S3 remains unchanged from its Chinese debut in late October.

Thus, the smartwatch has a 1.43-inch and 466 x 466-pixel AMOLED with a 326 PPI pixel density. Additionally, the Watch S3 relies upon a 486 mAh battery, which Xiaomi estimates should last up to 15 days with the device paired to an Android smartphone. For some reason, this official battery life claim drops by half a day if the Watch S3 is used with an iPhone. Arguably, the Watch S3's most notable feature is its interchangeable bezel, which magnetically attaches to the smartwatch's aluminium alloy frame.

Unfortunately, it seems that is not offering its colourful Watch Bezel and Strap bundles in most markets where the Watch S3 is available, at least for now. While Xiaomi has only just presented the Watch S3 globally, the smartwatch can already be purchased from the company directly in Europe and the UK. Typically, the Watch S3 should retail for €149.99 and £129.99 in the Eurozone and the UK, respectively.
