Xiaomi has only just introduced the Watch S4 to the international market, yet might have something newer than that fitness-focused, bright-screened wearable in the works already.
With the eSIM support revealed by its 3C certification, it might easily be a successor to the flagship Watch 2 Pro (now available for $269.99 on Amazon) if not an unusually early Watch S5.
Then again, the model number revealed in the new leak (M2426W1) is suspiciously close to that of the S4 (M2424W1) itself, suggesting that the former might be some kind of iterative upgrade of the latter.
In either case, the new Xiaomi Watch is now believed to be a particularly fast-charging wearable, with a 10 watt (W, or 5V/2A) M2249ACD1 accessory for that purpose, as opposed to 7.5W in its putative rival the OnePlus Watch 3.
Xiaomi's next Watch might launch alongside its next tablet (a device reportedly destined for a potentially generous OLED display of its own) as well as the OEM's second-gen foldable clamshell-style smartphone.
