Mibro has announced the GS Active 2 smartwatch for runners. This upcoming model is one of three new wearables for the GS series, appearing alongside the GS Explorer S and GS Pro 2 at MWC 2025. It will also join the GS Explorer watch, which launched last October.
Reports indicate that the Mibro GS Active 2 will share many similarities with the original GS Active watch. So far, we know that the new model will offer dual-frequency GNSS to track your running route, and users will be able to access training plans on the wearable. Other features are said to include basic health metric tracking and notifications from a connected smartphone.
Tools found on the original GS Active that could appear in this new model include the SeekBeats Motion Algorithm, which calculates VO₂ Max, recovery time, and training effectiveness. Plus, it has a 5 ATM waterproof rating, a 20-day battery life, and a 1,000 nit peak brightness AMOLED display. Based on these features, it could be that the GS Active 2 would compete with the Garmin Forerunner 165 smartwatch. However, the accuracy and complete specification of the Mibro model remains unknown.
There will be three colorways on offer: gray/black, silver/white and lilac/lilac. Mibro has yet to announce the price of the GS Active 2 smartwatch. However, based on this feature set, it is likely to arrive as one of the cheaper models in the Mibro GS range. You can currently buy the original GS Active watch for $83.00/€89.99 (Amazon DE).
