Garmin has left some early adopters of the Fenix E, Fenix 8 and Enduro 3 confused about the prospect of having received beta updates despite having never enrolled on the company's Beta Program. In fact, it seems that Garmin has started a new stable rollout without informing anyone that would be the case.

Just yesterday, we reported that Garmin appeared to tease that a new stable update was on the horizon for the Fenix E, Fenix 8 and the Enduro 3 (curr. $833.99 on Amazon). Following that, reports emerged that Garmin had started delivering a new stable update but the same build number as its latest beta update.

While that is not uncommon, Garmin tends to post changelogs on its forum before embarking on a new stable rollout. With that not happening in this case, it appeared that Garmin may have accidentally sent out a beta build to stable participants.

The subsequent publication of changelogs for the Fenix E, Fenix 8 and the Enduro 3 should now quash any suggestions that this has occurred. Instead, System Software 13.35 has arrived with the same build number as this week's beta update. As expected, Garmin's latest stable update only brings bug fixes to the table rather than new features or improvements. The full changelog from System Software 13.31 to System Software 13.35 is as follows:

  • Fixed Blank Map Covering Activity Data.
  • Fixed Blank Completed Strength DSW.
  • Fixed Crash when Using Keyboard to Respond to Text Messages in Activities.
  • Fixed Device Lockout when Enabling Passcode.
  • Fixed Potential Bug Preventing Activity Uploads.
  • Fixed Potential Crash when Using Keyboard in Emergency Assistance.
  • Fixed Virtual Partner Pace Range.
