Honor has officially introduced the Watch 5 Ultra at MWC 2025. As a stepped-up version of the non-Ultra variant, it comes with a higher-quality build featuring a grade 5 titanium case and sapphire crystal glass. The chassis of the smartwatch is water-resistant as well, with 5 ATM and IP68 ratings.
However, the build quality isn't the only highlight of the Honor Watch 5 Ultra. It comes with an octagonal design, making it stand out from the other premium smartwatches that the company released. There's a good focus on health and fitness tracking too.
One of the notable health monitoring features is the Quick Health Scan, which can offer instant ECG readings. Honor also claims that the Watch 5 Ultra can offer accurate insight into blood oxygen, sleep, and heartbeat. As for fitness, the smartwatch comes with 100 sports modes and supports many indoor and outdoor activities.
Getting back to the design and specs of the smartwatch, the Honor Watch 5 Ultra sports a 1.5-inch screen. It's an AMOLED screen with an 82.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, a resolution of 466x466 pixels, and a 60 Hz refresh rate. A 480 mAh battery powers all the internals of this wearable, and it's said to offer up to 15 days of runtime under regular use. It's also worth mentioning that there's support for wireless and reverse charging (Anker Zolo wireless power bank curr. $24.99 on Amazon).
Other notable aspects of the Honor Watch 5 Ultra include over 10,000 watch faces, all-day health tracking, and a dedicated diving mode. There's no word on the price of the smartwatch yet, and the company hasn't revealed when it will be available for purchase either. However, Honor confirmed that it would be available with black and brown straps.
