The Zepp app for Amazfit smartwatches has been updated to version 9.5. This follows the Zepp App 9.2 update in December, which brought new search functionality for Mini apps and an extra 3x3 grid view for New and Recommended apps.
Zepp App 9.5 also enhances user interactions in the app store. As teased last year, users can now search by App ID, copy an App ID from its page and click on a developer's name to view more of their apps. The release notes also list a 3x3 Grid usability improvement without providing further details. On top of this, Zepp says that Tap Zones that take users to the app store have been improved, and the in-store back button has been optimized.
Zepp app version 9.5.0 is already listed at the Apple App Store. Here, the version history notes that this update brings support for the Amazfit UP Earbuds, which launched in October. Plus, there is a new feature that allows you to edit workout data. To access this tool, users must tap on the ellipsis (three dots) button in the top right-hand corner of the workout. The change log also states that there are minor bug fixes.
At the Google Play Store in various countries, including the US, the app version is still listed at 9.4.5. It is unclear when Zepp App 9.5 will be available for Android users. The new app should be compatible with all Amazfit smartwatches, including the newer Active 2 (curr. $99.99 at Amazon).
