Amazfit has issued another update for the T-Rex 3 smartwatch, according to user reports. Software version 3.5.7.1 is the second release for this wearable in February; it follows software version 3.5.4.8, which added a new Audio Control app and the Ski machine workout, amongst other things.
By comparison, version 3.5.7.1 is a minor update, with the file 11.18MB in size. The release notes state that the position of the HYROX Race activity was changed in the default workout list. The company does not provide further details, but presumably, it is now a higher priority given the current popularity of HYROX events. The update also includes a bug fix addressing an “occasional issue” with the compass, where incorrect directions were shown during workouts. However, users who have installed the update note that there are further improvements to be made with other navigation features. On top of this, a problem where the system crashed during map downloads is said to have been resolved.
If you own the Amazfit T-Rex 3 smartwatch, you can download version 3.5.7.1 via the Zepp app. Go to Profile > Amazfit T-Rex 3 > System Update. Plus, a new Haze Gray version of this smartwatch is now available in Europe as well as North America (curr. $279.99 at Amazon).
