Just yesterday, we reported that Garmin had appeared to finalise beta development this cycle for the Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8. The company has now duly delivered System Software 13.31, which is the first major software update for the trio since mid-December. Incidentally, Garmin recently rolled out System Software 12.38 earlier this month, although that only addressed a GPS-related bug.
By our count, the new update introduces 29 new features, including support for Body Battery TrueUp, CIQ System 8 support and Passcode functionality. System Software 13.31 should also address 51 bug fixes, of which one Garmin has dedicated to resolving duplicate iOS notifications from occurring. The same update is said to bundle a few other improvements, the full list of which you can find below.
System Software 13.31 should have reached approximately 50% of Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8 (curr. $1,099.99 on Amazon) smartwatches running stable software. Please note that Garmin tends to take a few days before finishing these staggered rollouts. If your smartwatch remains stuck on older software, then you can trigger the download of System Software 13.31 by heading to Menu, System and Software Update before tapping 'Check for Updates'.
