Several Amazfit smartwatch users have flagged an issue with Exertion scores in the Zepp App. This metric arrived with Zepp App 9 as a way for users to track their daily energy expenditure. Users aim to boost their Exertion score to 100% through workouts, with the goal calculated using personal recovery and Readiness data. The issue has been reported by users of smartwatches, including the Bip 3 Pro and the T-Rex 3 (curr. $234.99 at Amazon).
Users are reporting on Reddit that the Exertion Score is not reflecting recent workouts. After an activity, some users get a 0 Exertion score, while others see their Exertion score reset at a lower value despite their exercise. Plus, it seems that this bug is also affecting Training Status and Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI) points. It is thought that the problem is linked to the latest version of the Zepp App.
Unfortunately, the Zepp Health team has not acknowledged this issue or indicated when users can expect a fix. Zepp App version 9.5 arrived a couple of weeks ago, with new search features, usability improvements, and support for the Amazfit UP Earbuds. Since its initial launch, version 9.5.1 and 9.5.2 have arrived for iOS users; the Android version remains on 9.5.0. If you are experiencing this Exertion score issue, you can report it in the Zepp app by going to Profile > User Feedback.
