The Casio G-Shock GPR-H1000 and MR-G MRG-B2100 watches have received 2025 iF Design Awards. The competition takes place in Hamburg annually, with 131 judges from countries worldwide choosing the products with the best designs.
The Master of G-Land Rangeman GPR-H1000 series launched in 2024 and currently includes three watches: the GPR-H1000-1, the GPR-H1000-9 and the GPR-H1000RY-1A9, which recently launched in the US. This model has a memory-in-pixel (MIP) LCD with a GPS antenna, six sensors and Bluetooth. These help you track your activity, heart rate, blood oxygen level, and other metrics, some of which are viewable in the accompanying app. Other features include tide graphs, and barometric pressure and altitude measurements.
The MR-G MRG-B2100 is another 2024 series, again with three releases to date: the MRG-B2100B-1A, the MRG-B2100D-1A and the newer MRG-B2100R-2A. These radio-controlled watches are made with premium materials like titanium and Cobarion and also offer Bluetooth connectivity to link to your smartphone. In the Casio Watches app, you can access features like Phone finder and trigger automatic time adjustment. Plus, there is a power-saving mode and Tough Solar charging.
These are not the first Casio watches to win iF Design Awards and the company has also been recognised in the past for the design of its digital pianos and scientific calculators. The 2025 iF Design Award Night is taking place in Berlin on April 28th.
