Casio’s limited edition G-Shock GMA-S110BE-4A now available in the US

Casio introduced the G-Shock x Barbie collaboration watch last month in Japan. Now the Japanese watchmaker has officially announced the G-Shock GMA-S110BE-4A limited edition Barbie watch in the US. The company’s latest Barbie limited edition watch joins the trio of other pink-hued G-Shock watches, including the GMA-P2100PP, the GMD-S5610PP, and the GMA-S140PP, which debutted earlier this year.

As the name suggests, the G-Shock GMA-S110BE-4A limited edition Barbie watch comes in a monochromatic pink color scheme accented with subtle variations across each component, such as the strap, bezel, and face. It features an industrial style, dimensional case design, which is quite similar to the GA-110 that debuted in 2010. It features a resin case paired with a bio-based resin bezel.

Dimensionally, the G-Shock GMA-S110BE-4A measures 49 x 45.9 x 15.8 mm (1.92 x 1.8 x 0.62 inches) and weighs 56 grams (0.12 lbs), so it should fit comfortably on various wrist sizes. The analog-digital hybrid pink dial is adorned with 2 hands (hour and minute), a heart motif indicator on the inset dial at 9 o’clock, and a Barbie logo at 3 o’clock, along with a day, PM, month, date, second, minute, and hour digital display. Plus, there’s an amber LED backlight with afterglow, helping you to read the watch in low lighting.

Furthermore, you’ll find a Barbie logo on the matching pink strap, and the case back is engraved with Barbie’s trademark side profile silhouette. The shock-resistant analog-digital watch offers 29 world time zones, with a fully automatic calendar up to the year 2099. Other features include a 1/1000-second stopwatch, a countdown timer for up to 24 hours, and five daily alarms.

The G-Shock GMA-S110BE-4A is powered by a CR1220 battery, with an estimated 2-year battery life. Moreover, this model comes with 20 bar (200 m) water resistance, making it suitable for swimming and other light water activities. Additionally, the watch is said to remain accurate to 15 seconds per month.

The Casio G-Shock GMA-S110BE-4A limited edition watch retails at $170. It will be available for purchase from tomorrow, 13th March, via Gshock.com and the G-Shock Soho store.
