It seems that Garmin is preparing to release a new stable update for the Fenix E, Fenix 8 and Enduro 3. Arriving in the wake of firmware that landed last month, the new stable update would focus on resolving bugs this time around.

Less than a month has passed since Garmin delivered a new stable update for the Fenix E, Fenix 8 and Enduro 3 (curr. $833.99 on Amazon) less than a fortnight ago. Typically, the company waits at least a month before issuing stable updates, during which time it tests new features and improvements on its public Beta Program.

Nonetheless, it now appears that Garmin has already finalised its next stable update for the trio. Officially, the company has not confirmed anything yet. However, it has left a clue in its latest beta update for the Fenix E, Fenix 8 and Enduro 3, which is rolling out as Beta Version 13.35 globally.

The clue in question is that Garmin has enabled Dive and ECG features in this build, which remain disabled throughout beta testing until a new stable update is ready. As a result, it looks as though the next stable update for the trio will be focused on resolving outstanding bugs rather than adding a new features. Based on recent beta updates, the Fenix E, Fenix 8 and Enduro 3 will soon receive the following bug fixes as part of a fresh stable update package:

  • Fixed Blank Completed Strength DSW.
  • Fixed Blank Map Covering Activity Data.
  • Fixed Crash when Using Keyboard to Respond to Text Messages in Activities.
  • Fixed Device Lockout when Enabling Passcode.
  • Fixed Potential Bug Preventing Activity Uploads.
  • Fixed Potential Crash when Using Keyboard in Emergency Assistance.
  • Fixed Virtual Partner Pace Range.
