The OnePlus Watch 3 was launched earlier in February. However, a small typo on its rear side caught attention, prompting OnePlus to acknowledge the mistake. The company is now shipping an apology letter with affected units.

The OnePlus Watch 3 is the company’s latest flagship smartwatch. The smartwatch gained attention when popular YouTuber MKBHD spotted a minor typo on the watch’s rear side. The text mistakenly read "Maed in China" instead of "Made in China."

The company acknowledged this minor mistake on X, and also delayed new sales of the watch. However, since not everyone is on social media, OnePlus took an additional step. A Reddit user revealed that their OnePlus Watch 3 came with an apology letter. The letter stated that the customer can either return this product or keep it as a “limited edition” piece.

"Unfortunately, shortly after the OnePlus Watch 3 went on sale, we noticed a typo on the underside of the dial – 'Meda in China'. Apologies!" - OnePlus

The OnePlus Watch 3 can be pre-ordered, but the deliveries are delayed until April. It is priced at $329, but using the coupon code “TIME1010“ on the official OnePlus website provides a $30 discount.

The Watch 3 features a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display. It has a peak brightness of 2,200 nits for better outdoor visibility. In terms of durability, it has an IP68 water and dust resistant rating. Additionally, it also features a MIL-STD-810H rating. Powered by the Snapdragon W5 and a custom BE2800 co-processor, the Watch 3 comes with 32GB of storage. It runs on the WearOS 5 operating system. The smartwatch has a 613mAh battery capacity, rated for up to 5 days of battery life with normal usage.
