Xiaomi first introduced the Smart Band 9 Pro in China and later brought it to the UK, Japan, and some of the EU regions late last year. The company has now expanded the availability of this wearable and introduced a new version in Cream White. It's available at €79.90 (curr. $94.93 on Amazon), making it stand as an affordable smartwatch with a good number of features.
As for the smartwatch itself, the Smart Band 9 Pro brings multiple small upgrades over its predecessor. One of them is the display, which now sports a peak brightness rating of 1,200 nits. This should make the screen more readable in different lighting conditions.
The screen size remains the same, though, at 1.74-inch, and it's still an AMOLED panel with a 60 Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi also claims to have upgraded the health monitoring system of the Smart Band 9 Pro. It's touted to be more accurate, with the upgraded AFE chip offering more precise measurements of the blood oxygen levels and heart rate.
When it comes to fitness tracking, the wearable comes with 150+ sports modes. Xiaomi also says that the GNSS five-satellite position system is 33% more accurate than its predecessor. As for the build, the Smart Band 9 Pro sports a 5 ATM water resistance rating, making it an ideal pick for swimmers.
Its battery life has seen an upgrade from its predecessor as well, with Xiaomi promising up to 21 days of use in the "typical usage mode" and up to 10 days in "AOD mode." Other notable features of the Smart Band 9 Pro include music control, a new linear motor for better vibrations, and a sleek design.
