MWC 2025 | Tecno expands AI ecosystem with AI Glasses and AI Glasses Pro

Tecno may be known for its smartphones and tablets, many of which are usually quickly forgotten. However, once in a while, the Transsion-owned brand manages to leave a huge impression with innovative devices such as the Tecno Pocket Go Windows gaming handheld. Now it is getting into the smart glasses game with not one but two AI smart glasses.

Called the Tecno AI Glasses and Tecno AI Glasses Pro, the two new wearables look like an average pair of glasses but they pack a lot of AI-infused tech. Design wise, the Tecno AI Glasses and Tecno AI Glasses Pro are made from magnesium alloy and ultra-light composite materials making them as light as sunglasses. They will be available in two designs - eyebrow frame and aviator style.

Powered by Tecno AI, both glasses have a built-in voice assistant called Tecno Ella which can be activated by touching the temple or via voice command. When activated, the AI assistant can help with functions such as object recognition, text summarization, translation, and business recommendations. It can also be used to access stored notes, memos, and personal schedules. 

Both pairs of glasses have integrated cameras while the Tecno AI Glasses Pro adds an AR display which comes in handy when using the glasses' real-time navigation feature. Unfortunately, Tecno hasn't provided technical details of the two AI glasses neither has it revealed if and when they will be available to buy.
