The MegaBook S14 has debuted in Barcelona as the latest Tecno AI PC. Much like its Asus Vivobook namesake (currently $899.99 on Amazon), it has an OLED display, albeit one of a higher 2.8K resolution and a faster 120Hz refresh rate.
Tecno also asserts that its S14 is the lightest of its category at just 899 grams (g, or 1.98lb), yet packs a backlit keyboard, dual (2W) DTS:X Ultra speakers and a battery rated to last up to 16 hours per day.
The MegaBook S14 also boasts a fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 6E and "seamless" pairing with Tecno smartphones for potentially streamlined photo sharing and sorting.
Tecno has also unveiled an external GPU, apparently designed to go with the S14 for potentially heightened productivity and "3A" gaming on the ultra-portable PC.
The OEM was quite vague on the exact nature of the "Nvidia graphics" found within, and has also indicated that the Dock will need an upcoming 2nd version of the laptop with Intel Arrow Lake silicon to function in any case.
