2024 Tecno Megabook T16 Pro debuts with Intel Core Ultra CPUs and 99.9 Wh battery
The 2024 Tecno Megabook T16 Pro has been officially unveiled. Like most of the laptops that have been launched recently, it comes with the Intel Meteor Lake processors. More specifically, there will be two CPU options available. One has an Intel Core Ultra 5, and the other packs a Core Ultra 7.
While Tecno didn't reveal which specific CPUs the Megabook T16 Pro would be available with, the official website does say that the maxed-out configuration has 16 cores, 22 threads, and a 4.8 GHz clock speed. These specs mean that the top-end option features the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, which makes the laptop pretty powerful for different workloads.
Tecno also says that the Megabook T16 Pro can deliver 65 watts of performance. This should make the system offer a decent gaming performance. But the laptop doesn't only focus on the performance. It aims at being reliable too. As the company claims, it's the "world's first 99.99 Wh ultrabook."
We already have the thin and light MSI Creator 15 (available on Amazon) with the same battery capacity. But it's hard to make a direct comparison against the claim as the company hasn't shared dimension and weight details yet. Nonetheless, thanks to its large-sized battery, the Tecno Megabook T16 Pro can offer up to 22 hours of battery life. The laptop also has support for 100-watt charging.
As for the screen, the Megabook T16 Pro has a 16-inch display with a 2.5K resolution, 400 nits of brightness rating, and 100% sRGB color gamut. Other highlights of the laptop include up to 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD, and "Ice Storm" cooling.
