Tecno's Pova 6 Pro has hit the Android smartphone market as the brand's latest 6.78-inch AMOLED display smartphone, driven at up to 120Hz by its Dimensity 6080 5G platform.
It looks a lot like its Pova 5 Pro forebear from the back - however, Tecno asserts that its version of the Arc Interface camera hump packs no less than 210 "Mini LED beads" that can be set to sync to the smartphone's Dolby Atmos-enhanced audio or notifications within its Android-based HIOS UI.
On that note, the 6 Pro is also touted as an up-to-24GB RAM device thanks to the OS' Memory Fusion 2.2 setting - however, that means it will have up to 12GB out of the box in reality. The "Ultra Charging" device also supports a Dynamic Island Port feature for its ~1,300-nit display.
The Pova 6 Pro 5G will be released to Amazon.in on April 4, 2024 for as little as INR 17,999 (~$216) with introductory discounts - whereas the 5 Pro now starts at INR 14,999 (~$180). Then again, its successor comes with a "free assured gift" of a Tecno S2 lamp speaker valued at INR 4,999 (~$60) during its initial sales event.
