Tecno Pova 6 Neo tipped to launch as affordable flat-screened Android smartphone
Tecno is now believed to be about to augment its Pova series with a 6 Neo variant as well as a vanilla 6. The two devices might have a lot in common, except that the Neo version might have a different kind of FHD+ display.
The Tecno Pova 6 is tipped to launch with the same kind of curved display as its Pro 5G sibling. However, it now seems their series will offer an alternative after all. Google's Play Console has reportedly listed another new smartphone from the brand ahead of its launch.
Its code-name is the LI6, whereas the Pova 6 is the LI7 - more possible evidence that the former will launch as the 6 Neo. The Play Console leak also indicates that the former will have the same SoC as the latter - however, it also seems that it will have a different display without such pronounced curves to its edges.
Accordingly, the Pova 6 Neo might launch for the same approximate price as the vanilla 6, yet act as its more on-trend, potentially gaming-friendly variant. It will be interesting to see if it too can rock the same enlarged 6,000mAh battery and up to 70W charging as the Pro version.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
