Earlier today, Qualcomm presented the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 series range-topper that shares more features with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2. While it took Xiaomi a few days to introduce the first Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 smartphone by the way of the CIVI 4 Pro, the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3-toting OnePlus Ace 3V has debuted on the same day as Qualcomm's official announcement.
According to OnePlus' product page, it has complemented the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 flash storage. Additionally, the Ace 3V utilises a 5,500 mAh battery that supports 100 W wired charging; no wireless charging of any kind is mentioned by OnePlus, though. Moreover, OnePlus equips the smartphone with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display that sits within a 162.7 x 75.2 x 8.47 mm housing and contributes to the device's 200 g overall weight.
For reference, the large display operates at 1,240 x 2,772 pixels, 2,150 nits, and 120 Hz with 60 Hz and 90 Hz modes. Meanwhile, the Ace 3V finds itself with 50 MP primary (IMX 882), 16 MP front-facing and 8 MP ultra-wide-angle cameras, of which only its primary is optically stabilised. Currently, the Ace 3V is expected to launch globally as the Nord 4, although OnePlus has only confirmed the existence of the similar-looking Nord CE 4 so far. At any rate, the Ace 3V comes in Magic Purple Silver and Titanium Air Grey colour options with the following memory configurations:
- 12 GB RAM/256 GB storage - CNY 1,999 (~$278)
- 12 GB RAM/512 GB storage - CNY 2,299 (~$319)
- 16 GB RAM/512 GB storage - CNY 2,599 (~$361)
