Samsung Galaxy A35 5G display type and size possibly confirmed in new leak
The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G managed to upgrade to a completely flat display, yet remain stuck with a water-drop notch, in 2023. However, its upcoming successor is projected to step up to an almost S24-like punch-hole to go with its SoC upgrade. Now, those details may have been confirmed ahead of its launch in a potentially last-minute leak.
It comes courtesy of the Google Play Console, which purports to confirm these details (along with that of its new "Awesome Lilac" colorway). Accordingly, this new tip points to bezels that seem to be about on par with those of the A34 5G, albeit with a less noticeable chin in this generation.
Like the Galaxy S23 FE before it, the A35 5G is listed as a "1080x2340" device with a DPI of 450 on the Play Console's database, thereby possibly hinting at a screen of about 6.4 inches in diagonal length. Then again, other leaks assert an unchanged 6.6-inch form-factor in 2024.
Either way, it will be interesting to see if the smartphone will launch at the same price as its A34 predecessor. For context, the device currently starts at INR 25,499 (~$307), or 28% off its INR 35,499 (~$428) MSRP, on Amazon.in right now.
