With the Galaxy A35 5G, Samsung is apparently finally giving one of its most popular mid-range smartphones a more modern design, replacing the notch with a punch hole, making the screen edges flatter, and revising the frame in several ways.

The extremely reliable leaker @OnLeaks was able to publish the first render images of the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G on MySmartPrice. According to the images, Samsung has made several major changes to the design of the mid-range smartphone compared to the Galaxy A34 5G (approx. 275 euros on Amazon).

Although the display is still flat and measures 6.6 inches diagonally, the edges of the screen are slightly narrower, and the chin at the bottom is only slightly thicker than the other edges, giving the device a slightly more premium look. This also affects the dimensions of the Galaxy A35 5G - at 161.6 x 77.9 x 8.2 millimeters, the smartphone is 0.2 millimeters less wide and 0.3 millimeters taller than its direct predecessor.

The somewhat outdated notch is replaced by a discreet punch-hole. The frame is flat instead of slightly rounded, resulting in a more modern look. After the Galaxy A15 5G, the Galaxy A35 5G apparently also has a bulge on the right-hand side of the frame, which houses the lock button and the volume rocker. The rear remains virtually unchanged, including three cameras, each of which is located individually in the housing, and an LED flash.

No further details on the features or launch date of the Galaxy A35 5G are yet known. The Galaxy A34 5G was officially unveiled in March 2023 and features a 120 Hz Super AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 1080, a 48 MP f/1.8 main camera with 1/2 inch sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery.
