Google Play Console listings have confirmed earlier rumours about the Galaxy S23 FE launching in Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 flavours. Both phones have an FHD+ screen, 8 GB RAM and run Android 13.

The Galaxy S23 FE, much like its non-FE counterparts, has become one of Samsung's worst-kept secrets in recent history. Multiple leaks (some from Samsung) have revealed its specs and design. Separate Geekbench listings have also confirmed two different variants. Google Play Console listings spotted by 91mobiles have now confirmed that information.

Samsung will indeed sell the Galaxy S23 FE with two different SoCs, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (codenamed SM-S771U1) and Exynos 2200 (SM-S771B). According to the listing, that will be the only difference between the two. Both will feature an FHD+ (1,080 x 2,340) screen, 8 GB of RAM, and launch with Android 13 out of the box.

There are three camera sensors at the back of the Galaxy S23 FE arranged vertically; two of which are cannibalized from a last-gen device (Galaxy S23's 50 MP primary sensor, Galaxy S21 FE's 8 MP telephoto camera) and finally, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

It isn't immediately clear which region will get which Galaxy S23 FE variant. Samsung will probably go back to its old ways and sell the Snapdragon version in the USA/China and the Exynos version elsewhere. Then again, both chips are equally prone to thermal throttling, so the experience will be consistent worldwide.
