Samsung Galaxy F15 5G surfaces with suspiciously A15-like specs on Geekbench
The Samsung Galaxy F15 5G seems to be making its way to India in 2024; however, it has stopped at Geekbench beforehand.
The benchmarking site has evaluated a device that goes by the alleged F14 5G successor's rumored model number. Then again, it might almost not have needed to bother, as there is an almost identical listing titled "samsung SM-A156B", an identifier belonging to the pre-existing Galaxy A15 5G.
Both devices have the same Android 14-based OS, 4GB of RAM and an SoC with 6 ARM cores clocked at 2GHz and 2 more at 2.3GHz - the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+, in other words. They only differ in 1 respect, which is where things get more interesting.
While the A15 has a motherboard appropriately code-named a15x, the "F15" has one with the moniker m15x - a potential giveaway that it will also be sold as the M15 5G in 2024.
It will be interesting to see if any can hit the F14 5G's current recommended price of INR 18,490 (~$223, although it is discounted to INR 12,999 (~$157) right now on Amazon.in).
