The Galaxy A16 5G is now available on Amazon at the more-or-less reasonable price of $222.49 - however, for those who like the 90Hz Super AMOLED device but don't like its name for whatever reason, Samsung might be about to serve that audience with its F-series twin.
The Galaxy F16 5G is now thought to launch as a barely-tweaked, if not identical, form of the A16 5G, if its rumored model number (SM-E166P) is anything to go by. On that note, it has reportedly been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) alongside the Galaxy M16, under its own identifier of SM-M166P.
On that note, a device of that name has just made a comeback on Geekbench, albeit on the benchmark's machine learning (ML) section this time. As before, it runs the test using the A16's Dimensity 6300 SoC and Android 14 rather than 15 - hopefully it will launch with the same "6-year" software upgrade pledge as the A16 5G did in India.
Interestingly, the "M16" has just 4GB of RAM in this new leak, as opposed to 8GB in the last. As for the F16, its specs remain completely unknown at the time of writing. Therefore, it is still possible that it might have the Exynos 1330 with which the A16 was linked prior to its launch.
