Samsung Galaxy F15 and M15 tipped to launch as 5G Android smartphones in 2024

The Samsung Galaxy F14 5G and M14 5G are now available for nearly the same price (INR 13,990 and INR 13,995 (~$168)) on Amazon.in by now with 6GB of RAM, a well-hyped 5nm platform in the form of the Exynos 1330 SoC and an apparently class-leading 6,000mAh battery capacity - although the former has just 2 rear cameras while the latter gets to resemble the higher-end S21 series with 3 for some reason.

Accordingly, it will be interesting to see if the 5G variant of the allegedly upcoming Galaxy F15 range has to make the same compromise should it launch soon as rumored. Its initial leak consists of the appearance of the model number SM-E156B/DS on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification database and not much more - nevertheless, that single piece of alleged information might still tell us a lot about the putative smartphone.

For example, we may now know it is almost definitely a 5G device destined for the Indian market thanks to its SM-xnn6B format; in addition, it might now be thought of as a dual-SIM device, as typically suggested by the /DS suffix.

Finally, as it is accompanied by the second, similar SM-M156B/DS identifier in this initial leak, it too might have a 5G Galaxy M-series counterpart, one or both of which may or may not have a lot in common with a certain new A15-series device on their launch.
