The Galaxy M54 5G has launched at the upper end of the Samsung mid-tier Android smartphone spectrum in 2023, with a new 5nm Exynos chipset to drive a 120Hz display with proportions to match its larger-than-average battery. Now, it looks like the device is going to become available in India, albeit under a different name.

The world has got a Galaxy A54 and an M54 - now, Samsung is reportedly ready to unleash an F54 to go with them soon. It is allegedly on the way as a new 6,000mAh battery smartphone, and, thus, more like one of its namesakes than another.

Accordingly, this "Galaxy F54" may debut with the Exynos 1380 SoC, a 120Hz display and up to 8GB of RAM. The first clue to its existence is the recent addition of the SM-E546B/DS to the Samsung India support database.

The novel model number is, according to another new leak attributed to the SGS Fimko battery-testing group, equivalent to SM-M546B/DS, in that both correspond to the same battery of 5,830mAh in rated capacity.

This will probably be rounded up to 6,000mAh for spec sheets. In other words, the SM-E546B/DS and M546B/DS - or Galaxy F54 and M54 - are now slated to be one and the same, and is headed to India with its headlining spec under the first of those names.

Then again, Samsung has yet to set an official date for this event - which suggests that it is waiting to spring this higher-end option on potential M14 customers later in 2023.

Meanwhile, the 5,000mAh Galaxy A54 is now available on Amazon.in
