Samsung Galaxy A-series launch event set for mid-March in India
Samsung India now offers fans a chance to "Amp Your Awesome", an updated tagline that is just one indication of an upcoming Galaxy A-series launch, later this month.
The OEM's long-awaited announcement may raise hopes of imminent Galaxy A54 availability - however, it involves a reveal of 3 new colors more often linked to the A34 in prior leaks. Its name has also just been added to a first-party Indian support site, moreover.
The putative A33 replacement is thus slated to come with 6 to 8GB of RAM, as well as an official IP67 rating, thus far. Accordingly, it is now slated to withstand "submersion in up to 1 meter of fresh water for up to 30 minutes" on its March 16, 2023 debut at 12:00 IST (07:30 CET).
Whether it will be joined in its Indian debut by an A53 5G successor, which has repeatedly joined it in pre-launch rumors with similar finish options, remains to be seen. The possibly slightly higher-end mid-ranger has allegedly been spotted in the latest Samsung US teasers online.
Those alleged promos are now nowhere to be found on the OEM's sites, however. They had allegedly been purported to confirm "powerful" mobile connectivity, "crisp, clear" display quality, prolonged battery life and camera features such as Nightography, OIS and Single Take in the upcoming A54 5G. However, a debut reportedly set for March 15, 2023 has yet to be confirmed outright.
