European pricing, colours, memory configurations and specifications leak for Samsung Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G

Extensive leaks have revealed numerous details about the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G, two of Samsung's next-generation mid-range smartphones. Both will launch with 120 Hz Super AMOLED displays and triple rear-facing cameras, among other similarities.

It seems that Samsung is close to launching the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G, having recently introduced the Galaxy A14 in multiple markets. While Samsung has not yet confirmed their release, Appuals and WinFuture have obtained several specifications about the pair, as well as European launch pricing. It remains to be seen when either smartphone will be available though, or if a European launch will precede equivalents in other markets.

Regardless, WinFuture asserts that the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G will ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 900 and Samsung Exynos 1380, respectively. For reference, the Galaxy A34 5G was rumoured to utilise the Dimensity 1080, a more powerful and newer chipset than the Dimensity 900. Additionally, Samsung will offer the pair with 5,000 mAh batteries, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. The Galaxy A34 5G will start with 6 GB of RAM; the Galaxy A54 5G will only come with 8 GB of RAM.

Moreover, Samsung will equip both handsets with 120 Hz and 1080p Super AMOLED panels, although the Galaxy A34 5G will be slightly larger at 6.6-inches. By contrast, the Galaxy A54 5G will contain a 6.4-inch panel, which will yield a higher pixel density. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy A54 5G will contain superior cameras, with 50 MP primary, 12 MP ultra-wide-angle, 5 MP macro and 32 MP front-facing cameras. In comparison, Samsung is rumoured to have equipped the Galaxy A34 5G with 48 MP primary, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle and 13 MP front-facing cameras.

Furthermore, the pair are thought to share graphite, lime and violet colourways. However, the Galaxy A34 5G will also be available with a silver finish, whereas Samsung will bring a white colour option to market for the Galaxy A54 5G. Currently, the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G are expected to arrive at the following price points:

  • Galaxy A34 5G

    • 6 GB RAM/128 GB storage - €410/€430
    • 8 GB RAM/256 GB storage - €470/€490

  • Galaxy A54 5G

    • 8 GB RAM/128 GB storage - €530/€550
    • 8 GB RAM/256 GB storage - €590/€610
