Samsung's latest round of firmware updates brought the latest Android security patch to the Galaxy A50 and A70. Now, their predecessors have been graced with new software features, one or two of which debuted with the S20 series at these premium smartphones' launch.
To this end, owners of the A71 and A51 may soon be able to open their stock camera apps and use functions such as Single Take, Night Hyperlapse and Live Focus. There are also many more filters and filter options that have only been available on higher-end Samsung devices thus far.
The Galaxy A51 and A71 are also now compatible with Music Share, which was introduced along with the S20s. The new update also contains Quick Share and its related options, which streamline the exchange of files between phones, particularly when there are a lot of them.
Samsung has stated that this is just another stage in its drive to bring more premium features to less expensive phones. However, it did not mention if this OTA is available worldwide yet, or when Galaxy A fans should expect to see it.
