Roland Quandt and WinFuture have shared official product images of the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54, as well as several key specifications. As the leaked images show, the pair look almost identical and share design languages with the Galaxy S23 series. However, the Galaxy A34 contains a waterdrop notch rather than a punch-hole like the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy S23 series.
Both models have flat Super AMOLED displays that output at 1080p and 120 Hz. The Galaxy A34 has a 6.6-inch panel though, compared to a 6.4-inch one in the Galaxy A54. Moreover, Samsung uses 5,000 mAh batteries across the new Galaxy A series. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy A34 has worse cameras than the Galaxy A54 on paper. WinFuture claims that the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 feature the following cameras:
- Galaxy A34
- 48 MP primary
- 8 MP ultra-wide-angle
- 5 MP depth/macro
- 13 MP front-facing
- Galaxy A54
- 50 MP primary
- 12 MP ultra-wide-angle
- 5 MP depth/macro
- 32 MP front-facing
Reportedly, the Galaxy A34 will arrive with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and a choice of 128 GB or 256 GB of expandable storage. By contrast, the Galaxy A54 features the Exynos 1380, plus 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. WinFuture expects Samsung to announce the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 next month; pricing has not leaked yet, though. Both models should come with four major Android OS updates and an additional year of Android security patch coverage.
