Samsung is now all but ready to unleash the Galaxy A24 as a new affordable-grade smartphone on the Indian market - according to the latest leaks via its own website, that is. The device is expected to join its A23 predecessor in 4G/LTE-only status, albeit with a potentially refined design and rear camera layout.
The Galaxy A23's successors (in both 5G- and non-5G flavors) seem to have been skipped over in Samsung's 2023 hardware upgrade roll-out thus far. However, one of those now seems ready to join the A14 5G and so on in the real world, starting with a launch for the Indian market.
This rumor is based on the appearance of the SM-A245F/DS on Samsung India's support website - not to mention Amazon India's sudden 25% discount on the A23 - often a certain last step prior to a debut for the corresponding device. This putative "A24" variant is also now slated to do so as a 4G/LTE-only smartphone (as indicated by the 5 in its model number) and to support dual-SIM connectivity (/DS).
Then again, this alleged new generation is tipped to come with upgrades in other areas, not the least of which might be the updated rear panel most similar in color options and appearance to that of its A14 4G sibling.
