Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: Leak reveals alleged details of Samsung's next Fan Edition phone
The rumor mill currently leans towards the Galaxy S23 FE being prepped for release. That tends to change every fortnight, however, but it does seem like Samsung will finally release its next Fan Edition smartphone, with a new leak now revealing alleged details of the affordable premium phone.
According to leaker Tech_Reve, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will debut with an Exynos 2200. Considering how poorly received the Exynos 2200 on the Galaxy S22 series was last year, most would consider the Galaxy S23 FE dead on arrival if this leak turns out true. Supposedly, its Exynos 2200 will be paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Comparatively, the Galaxy S23 range comes equipped with LPPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
Supposedly, though, the Galaxy S23 FE will adopt the S23's main camera. The 50 MP GN3 is touted—the same sensor used on the S22, S22+, S23, and S23+—and will be joined by a 12 MP ultra-wide shooter and an 8 MP 3x zoom lens. A 12 MP selfie camera is tipped as well, although it's unspecified if it's the same one on the Galaxy S23 phones.
