Rumor | Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE tipped to debut alongside the Galaxy S23 FE later in the year
As it stands, it appears Samsung will launch the Galaxy S23 FE this year after all. The company debuted the S21 FE in January and seems to have skipped over the S22 FE in favor of debuting the S23 FE later this year. A new leak has now revealed more information on when the "cheap" premium phone will launch as well.
According to RGcloudS, Samsung is readying the Galaxy S23 FE for an August launch. Supposedly, the Galaxy S23 FE will debut at Samsung's second Unpacked event of the year, alongside heavy hitters like the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5. Prior reports from Korea claimed an August or September release for the device, and this seems in line with those claims.
In addition to the Galaxy S23 FE, RGcloudS also touts the Galaxy Tab S8 FE to debut at the same event. The Tab S7 FE was launched in May 2021 and is due a successor. The Galaxy Tab S9 series is widely expected to launch at Unpacked alongside the aforementioned foldables. It'd be valid to question the veracity of this leak, as Samsung may be unwilling to debut the Tab S9 series and Tab S8 FE at the same event. In any case, the Galaxy Tab S8 FE is said to bear the model number "SM-X506B", and could feature a MediaTek chipset and an LCD screen.
