Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra: Accessories list and lots of hints about the new Galaxy AI Zoom features
It won't be long now. In France, you can already "play to win" a Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra, with the promotion confirming some of the leaked Euro prices. Sales of the series officially start on January 17, 2024, and Mobilefun's online store, which is usually very quick to offer accessories, already has a long list of official Samsung items for the successors to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
On top of the simple silicon cases, for example, there will be clear cases, shield cases, smart view wallet cases, standing grip cases, suit cases and vegan leather cases. The images below stem from an earlier leak by @passionategeekz and could not be verified as "official Samsung cases". However, the standard silicone case for the Galaxy S24 Ultra is likely to look something like this, although the color options may not be entirely correct. According to Mobilefun, at least Dark Violet, Light Green, White, Yellow and Light Grey can be expected for the Ultra model.

In addition to the wide range of protective cases, the accessories list also includes some screen protectors and S-Pens for the Galaxy Note successor. As for the Galaxy S24 series itself, a few surprises are still in store, according to a leaker. Anyone who visits Samsung's US website will find the traditional reservation page as well as teasers for new zoom functions.
Galaxy AI Zoom-Features, better 10x zoom than the Galaxy S23 Ultra
In recent posts on X, leakers such as Ahmed Qwaider describe what users can expect. For example, using the new 5x telephoto camera for 8K video recordings is said to be possible. 10x zoom will also be supported in future with Samsung's 'Single Take' feature. Speaking of 10x zoom: despite the lens only having an optical magnification of 5x, the quality of the 10x zoom is said to be very high, according to Ahmed on X. Chinese leaker Ice Universe goes one step further and promises "better 10x zoom quality" than the Galaxy S23 Ultra in recent tweet.
The higher quality of the new telephoto can also be used for portrait shots, which are supported with 1x, 2x, 3x and 5x zoom. Aside from the camera app, some new AI functions of the Galaxy S24 series have also become known. For example, it should be possible to slow down videos in the Gallery app in future (slow motion function) without having to use a video editor, and it should also be possible to compress videos directly in the Gallery. A "Browsing Assist" function (presumably only in the Samsung browser) can apparently translate and summarize selected content - classic generative AI functions.
