Samsung will launch its next-gen flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S24 series, on January 17. Ahead of that date, though, a new leak has now provided insight into how the phones could be priced in Europe. In France, to be exact.

Samsung has confirmed its plans to unveil the Galaxy S24 series at Unpacked, on January 17. That may still be two weeks away but details of the phones have leaked thoroughly already, with a new leak now seemingly revealing pricing information for the flagship devices in Europe.

Said leak apparently refers to an official document by retail store Darty, with three Samsung devices listed with price tags of €899, €1169, and €1469. Presumably, those three devices are the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra respectively. The source document makes no mention of the models specifically, however.

For the most part, it appears the Galaxy S24 series will be cheaper than the S23 lineup before it, at least in France. To be exact, the base SKU of the vanilla S23 cost €959 in France—at launch last year. The cheapest SKUs of the S23+ and S23 Ultra cost €1219 and €1419 respectively. Compared to the leaked pricing of the S24 series, it seems the S24 and S24+ could be slightly cheaper than their predecessors, with the reverse being the case for the S24 Ultra.
