OnePlus confirms fitting OnePlus 12R with largest battery it has ever put in a phone
The OnePlus 12R is set to launch on January 23. It will be marching outside the Chinese market alongside the OnePlus 12. Weeks before the international debut, the company has been revealing some specs of the device. So far, we got to know that the phone is set to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, up to 16 GB of LPPDR5X RAM, and a 1.5K BOE display.
Now, OnePlus has revealed that it has packed the 12R with the largest battery a OnePlus phone ever had. More specifically, the company confirmed that the upcoming phone has a 5500 mAh battery. This capacity is around 2% more than the battery found in the brand's latest flagship, and it should result in good screen-on-time stats.
In addition, OnePlus has confirmed that the 12R sports an LTPO 4.0 display. It is capable of operating at a wide range of refresh rates, which includes 90 Hz and 72 Hz. As for the protection, the company has covered the screen with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
More specs of the OnePlus 12R should be confirmed right when the company releases the OnePlus Ace 3 today. For those wondering, Ace 3 is basically the Chinese version of the 12R. So, with that unveiling, we should get all the details of the device.
