Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G make first international appearances with Indian release

Xiaomi has now brought the Redmi Note 13 series to India, less than a month after it teased today's 'SuperPower SuperNote' event. As expected, the company has released the Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G but not any 4G variants. Based on recent rumours, Xiaomi plans to introduce at least the Redmi Note 13 4G and Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G with a few differences from their 5G counterparts.

As far as we can tell, the Indian versions of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G remain unchanged from their Chinese release in September 2023. Thus, the pair share 6.67-inch OLED displays that operate at 1220p with a 120 Hz refresh rate, although only the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G has a curved finish. Additionally, both smartphones have 200 MP primary, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle, 2 MP macro, and 16 MP front-facing cameras, of which only the primary camera is optically stabilised (OIS).

However, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro combines a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with a 5,100 mAh battery that supports 67 W charging, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus utilises the Dimensity 7200 Ultra, a 5,000 mAh battery and 120 W wired charging capabilities. Conversely, Xiaomi has added a third rear-facing camera for the Indian version of the Redmi Note 13 5G, with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor joining the device's 108 MP primary, 2 MP depth and 16 MP front-facing sensors.
