Xiaomi confirms first international 'SuperPower SuperNote' Redmi Note 13 series launch event
Xiaomi has now provided the first international release date for the Redmi Note 13 series, a set of smartphones that debuted at the end of September. To recap, the company included a nod to the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus launching outside China last week during its Redmi 13C 5G announcement video. However, it only teased that the handset would be 'coming in January 2024'.
This time, Xiaomi has implied that it plans to offer more than just the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, the series' flagship model. As expected, the Redmi Note 13 series will arrive in India first, presumably before a Q1 2024 introduction elsewhere. Writing on Twitter, Xiaomi's Indian subsidiary informed its followers:
Prepare to witness power like never before as we redefine the game. Brace for impact, the extraordinary is on its way!
In real terms, the Redmi Note 13 series offers up to a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset with a 1220p and 120 Hz OLED display. Additionally, Xiaomi equips both the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus with 200 MP primary cameras. Only the latter supports 120 W wired charging for its 5,000 mAh battery, though.
By contrast, the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro can recharge their 5,000 mAh and 5,100 mAh batteries at up to 33 W and 67 W, respectively. While Xiaomi will not reveal the Redmi Note 13 series in India until January 4, full device specifications can be found in our Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus launch articles.
