Redmi Note 13 Pro and Pro Plus 5G Indian Editions teased ahead of imminent launch

Redmi India has just set up new micro-sites for its upcoming Note 13 series campaign - and potential customers might rejoice, as one previews the 5G-capable Pro variant, whereas another teases its top-end Pro Plus (or Pro+) sibling.

The devices are depicted with the quintessential Xiaomi design languages from their Chinese launch, although they are finished in heretofore-unseen multicolored patterns, ostensibly executed in vegan leather in the case of the Pro+.

The resulting pastel motleys might be a novel way of teasing the Pro 5G series' colorway options in its new market - unless they are to become available as new exclusive finishes in their own right. Redmi's new sites keep the hype rolling by confirming that the Note 13 Pro 5G will bring its 200MP "Blockbuster Camera" with it to India (complete with scrollable sample shots), not to mention its Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor for "Qualcomm Power". 

The Pro+, by contrast, is now being previewed as a new "Fusion Design" series flagship with a 1.5K curved OLED display, an IP68 rating and as the new "smartest way to HyperCharge", which will be done at up to 120W in as little as 19 minutes.

Redmi will unlock more Note 13 Pro 5G feature previews on December 25 and 26, 2023, ahead of the smartphone's formal January 4, 2024 debut. In the meantime, similar new event sites for the even more mid-range vanilla Note 13 - not to mention its 4G sibling - are fast running out of time to appear.
